Narrative

     Margaret refused Edward II's queen, Isabella of Angouleme, admittance to the royal castle of Leeds in the summer of 1321. For this insult, Edward II besieged Leeds, captured the castle and Margaret de Clare on November 11 and imprisoned her in the Tower of London until the following November 2.3
