     Edward lived in Northumberland County and owned land there. He and his wife Sarah sold the land in 1738 and moved to Prince William County, Virginia. St. Stephens Parish< Northumberland County, records list the births of his daughters Sarah and Winnifred.

     Edward did not fight in the Revolutionary War but did supply beef for the cause.

     Edward made a will in 1783. His will names eight children plus one grandson, Rodham Tullos Lawrence. The parents of Rodham are unknown. Edward had a number of grandchildren living by the time of he wrote his will giving question as to why only one was mentioned. The father of Rodham may have been another son of Edward who had died before 1783.1
