     Ahmed Lawrence was born on 10 January 1816 in Kentucky.^1,2,3,4 He married Virginia Jane Dickerson on 24 February 1840 in Barren Co., Kentucky.¹ Ahmed Lawrence married second Eliza Dru Berta Oliver in 1871 in Barren Co., Kentucky.¹ Ahmed died in 1877 in Kentucky.¹

     In the Census of 1850 enumerated 5 August 1850, Ahmed Lawrence was listed as a head of household in Division 1, Barren Co., Kentucky. He was listed at age 30, occupation as a farmer with no real estate value listed, born in Kentucky. Also enumerated in the household: Virginia Jane Lawrence, John Lawrence, Nancy Lawrence, Robert Lawrence and Elizabeth Lawrence.²

     Virginia Jane Dickerson was born in 1825 in Kentucky.^1,2,3 She married Ahmed Lawrence, son of Archibald Lawrence and Elizabeth Butler, on 24 February 1840 in Barren Co., Kentucky.¹ Virginia died before 1870.¹
