     Joseph Edward Etheridge was born on 7 September 1860 in Uniontown, Perry Co., Alabama.2,4,5 Joseph died on 6 March 1947 in Veteran's Hospital, Montgomery, Alabama, at age 86.2 He was interred in Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown, Perry Co., Alabama.2Joseph was a private in the 2nd Alabama Infantry during the Spanish American War.2
