     Richard Newman Hines was born circa 1857 in Blount Co., Tennessee.1,2,3,4,5,6 He married Martha Miranda Swaggerty circa 1880 in Knox Co., Tennessee.1,4 Richard died circa 1927 in Knoxville, Knox Co., Tennessee.1Richard may not be a son of Isaac and Cynthia. I based this on the fact that he did not appear on the 1860 census with the family and the fact that he was listed at the end of the members of household on the 1870 census out of sequence by age. Perhaps he was a nephew or some other relationship.
