Article concerning Raygen's death:
William Foster Rites Set in Fountain City
Funeral services for William Raygen Foster, 13-year old Stokes School football captain, who was killed last night in a motorbike collision, will be held in Fountain City, Tenn. Burial will be in the Lynnhurst Cemetery there.
The body of the boy, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. O. Foster of 1121 Belvedere Drive, will be at the Bracey-Welsh Funeral Home here until midnight tonight and will then be conveyed to the Mynatt Funeral Home in Fountain City. Time of the services has not been set.
Young Foster died when his motorbike struck the automobile shortly after 8 p.m. at the Lealand Land-Woodmont Boulevard intersection.
The boy was killed instantly when his motor bicycle hit the side of a car driven by Joe Goldberg, 66, of 3821 Harding Road.
Dist. Atty. Gen. J. Carlton Loser said Goldberg will be charged with driving a motor vehicle without a license. Futher investigation was planned, the attorney general said, but indications today were that no other charges in connection with young Foster's death would be brought.
Asst. Atty. Gen. John Askew and Special Investigator John Fields of the district attorneyy's office said they found evidence to indicate that the boy, who was headed south on Lealand Lane, did not stop at the intersection and crashed into the side of the jeep station wagon driven by Goldberg. A small flashlight, found at the scene, was presumably carried by the boy, but there were no lights on the bicycle itself, Loser said.
Goldberg, who witnesses said was not speeding, pulled his car into a front lawn on Woodmont Boulevard in an effort to avoid the boy.
The Foster boy was a son of the assistant secretary-editor of the Tennessee State Medical Association and public relations director for the Nashville Academy of Medicine.
He was born June 23, 1936, in Knoxville and formerly lived in Clinton where his father was city judge before moving to Nashville in 1946.
The boy attended school in Clinton and at the time of his death was in the eight grade at Stokes School where he was also captain of the football team.
The Foster youth was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church and was a Boy Scout.
Besides his parents, survivors are a brother, Edward Hunter Foster, 16; and three grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Foster of Heiskell, and Mrs. J. E. Foster and R. H. Harr, all of Knoxville. (Note: last paragraph as appeared in article, it appears Mrs. J. E. Foster is listed twice.).1

Edward Hunter Harr
Edward returned to Tennessee moving to Washington Co. prior to 1880. On the U. S. Census of 1880 Edward's brothers John and William are listed in his household. Edward Harr served as Worshipful Master for the Masonic Lodge in Johnson City, Tennessee. His picture hangs on the Wall of former Masters.
Edward Hunter Harr apparently died from typhoid fever shortly after being elected sheriff in 1884. Family tradition has that, as a widow, Lummie supported herself and her children after Edward's death by taking in sewing.
The following is a transcription from the Johnson City, Tennessee Comet.
Sheriff elect, Ed. H. Harr, is very low with typhoid fever. A host of friends are shuddering to see this exceptionally good man so near unto death. There is hope that he may be spared to raise his precious children and to still bless the community with his noble deeds and pure life.9
Edward Hunter Harr died on that date according to the tombstone inscription. Two other related articles appeared in the Johnson City Comet.
The first: The county court will elect sheriff to fill vacancy caused by death of Mr. Ed. Harr.
The second: John Eakin for the Masonic Lodge at this place made arrangements with the railroad authorities for the midnight train to stop Sunday night at Union and take on the men who went from this place to the burying of Mr. Harr in Sullivan County. Twenty three of the number waited until 2 a. m. for the train. The train came and went rushing by leaving the men to wait for the morning train.10

Tombstone inscription for E. H. Harr in old Harr cemetery, Sullivan County, Tennessee reads as follows:
