     Isaac Bumpas was born before 27 March 1681 in New Plymouth Colony. He was baptized on 27 March 1681 2nd Church in Scituate, New Plymouth Colony.¹ He married first Mary Perry, daughter of Ezra Perry and Rebecca Freeman, on 14 June 1708.¹ He married second Elizabeth Clark on 6 October 1741 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ Isaac died on 19 December 1761.¹

     Isaac moved to Lyme, Connecticut about 1720.

     Zoar Bumpas was born before 27 March 1681 in New Plymouth Colony. He was baptized on 27 March 1681 2nd Church in Scituate, New Plymouth Colony.¹

     Job Bumpas was born before 29 April 1683 in New Plymouth Colony. He was baptized on 29 April 1683 2nd Church in Scituate, New Plymouth Colony.¹ Job married first Abigail ?.¹ Job married second Martha ?.¹ Job died between 5 September 1746 and 10 September 1746 in New River, Onslow Co., North Carolina.¹

     Job went south after the death of his father. He is mentioned in Onslow Co., North Carolina about 1730. He obtain land grants from King George III on the New and North Rivers as did his son Cornelius and cousin George Bumpas. There was a New England Colony planted on the lower Cape Fear River in North Carolina in 1660. Connection was maintained between this colony and New England by coast vessels resulting in constant trading.

     In Grimes abstract of wills in North Carolina up to 1760, the only entry is Job Bumpas of Onslow Co., NC, Sept. 6 1746-Oct. 1746: To David 200 acres on north side of New River; Cornelius 300 acres with grist mill; John 320 acres on south side of New River; Abigail Lewis, dau. Executors: David and Cornelius, sons. A witness was Tabas Bumpus. There is no indication as to which of his wifes were the mother of his children.

     Sarah Bumpas was born on 16 September 1685 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ She married Ebenezer Perry, son of Ezra Perry, on 14 June 1708 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ Sarah died in 1718 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Sarah probably died immediately after the birth of twins May and Reuben 21 May 1718.

     Edward Bumpas was born on 16 September 1688 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married first Rhoda Bump in 1708.¹ He married second Martha Raymond, daughter of John Raymond and Martha Woodin, on 28 February 1717/18 in Middleboro, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ Edward died on 14 November 1745 in Wareham, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, at age 57.¹

     Edward and Martha lived at Wareham. In 1739 he was authorized to call the first town meeting and presided as moderator. He was the master of ceremonies at the ordination of the first minister of the new church of Wareham, Rev. Rowland Thatcher, who was ordained December 26, 1739. He was a juryman in 1743. Edward and Martha joined the new church at Wareham in 1739. He owned land in Rochester from 1713 to 1740.

     Jeremiah Bumpas was born on 24 August 1692 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married Jane Lovell, daughter of Andrew Lovell, on 15 November 1722.¹ Jeremiah probably died on 31 December 1770 in Wareham, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Jeremiah was a farmer and was called Leiutenant in 1748. He was the first selectman of Wareham in 1739 and joined the church in 1739. He was moderator in 1742 and 1752, served as juryman in 1745, 1748, and 1753. He was selectman in 1739 to 1744, 1750, 1751, and 1753. He was on the meeting house committee in 1739 and was fish commissioner in 1746, 1748, and 1753. Jeremiah received one-quarter interest in his father's saw mill.

     Isaac Benson was born circa 1669 in Sandwich, New Plymouth Colony.¹ He married Mary Bumpas, daughter of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 17 March 1698/99.¹ Isaac died after 1746.¹

     Hannah Morey was born circa 1673.¹ She married John Bumpas Jr., son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, circa 1694 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ Hannah died circa 1729.¹

     Jane Lovell was born on 20 July 1670.¹ She married John Bumpas Jr., son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 12 July 1729 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Jane was also known as Jean.

     John Lovell married Mary Hatch.¹

     Mary Hatch married John Lovell.¹

     Johathan Morey married Mary Bartlett.¹

     Mary Bartlett married Johathan Morey.¹

     Mary Savery was born on 3 January 1678.¹ She married James Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 17 February 1702/3.¹ Mary died by 1726.¹

     Marjery Norris married James Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 12 January 1726/27.¹

     Mary Perry was born on 21 December 1675.¹ She married Isaac Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 14 June 1708.¹ Mary died before 1741 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Elizabeth Clark was born circa 1688.¹ She married Isaac Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 6 October 1741 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Abigail ? married Job Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter.¹

     Martha ? married Job Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter.¹

     Ebenezer Perry was born on 18 November 1673 in Sandwich, New Plymouth Colony.¹ He married first Sarah Bumpas, daughter of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 14 June 1708 in Rochester, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married second Judith Savery on 17 February 1719. Ebenezer died circa 1747/48 in Wareham, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Judith Savery married Ebenezer Perry, son of Ezra Perry, on 17 February 1719.

     Rhoda Bump married Edward Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, in 1708.¹

     Martha Raymond was born on 11 August 1692.¹ She married Edward Bumpas, son of John Bumpas [Sr.] and Sarah Hunter, on 28 February 1717/18 in Middleboro, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.¹ Martha died after 17 November 1766.¹

     Martha, the widow of Edward Bumpus, joined the Amenia, New York church 17 November 1766. At the time she was living with her daughter Loes, who married John Randall.

     John Raymond married Martha Woodin.¹
