If this is so who is the mother of Homer and Gertrude? According to the 1900 U. S. Census James married Lucinda about 1897. Was there another wife between Frances and Lucinda or is perhaps the death date for Frances incorrect and should be 1896 rather than 1886. Additionally, the 1900 U. S. Census indicates that Lucinda has four children still living, where are they, perhaps all grown?
