     Lydia Vinson was born on 1 January 1760 in North Carolina.1,2 Conflicting evidence states that Lydia Vinson was born in 1769 in North Carolina.1 Lydia married first Lewis Malone.1 Lydia married second John Lawrence, son of Charles Lawrence and Amey Joyner, on 29 August 1792 in Sumner Co., Tennessee.3 Lydia died on 21 October 1853 in Tennessee at age 93.1

     On 6 September 1843, Lydea Lawrence, widow of John Lawrence, was given her allotment for one year.4

     In the Census of 1850, Lydia Lawrence was listed in the household of Wilson Tularters? or Twister? (relationship unknown) in Wilson Co., Tennessee. She was listed at age 90, born in North Carolina.
